What it's made of.
Twelve stations,
start to finish.
Each cover passes through every station in the same order. Pick a station to read what happens there.
Measure
The order's dimensions, radius and skirt are checked against the spec sheet before anything is cut.
Layout
Panels are marked out on the vinyl so the pattern falls the same way on every piece.
Cut
The vinyl is cut to the panel plan for this cover's exact dimensions.
Sew
Panels are sewn into a single skin, seams running where the cover folds.
Bar-tack
Stress points are reinforced where handles, straps and the hinge will pull.
Foam cut
The foam cores are cut to size and tapered so water runs off instead of pooling.
Heat seal
Each core is sealed inside its vapour barrier to keep water out of the foam.
Stuff
The sealed cores are fitted into the sewn skin.
Hardware
Handles, straps and tie-downs are fitted to the finished cover.
QA
The cover is inspected against the spec sheet it was built from.
Wrap
The cover is wrapped and labelled for its destination.
Ship
It leaves on freight for the address on the order.
