OUR MISSION

How can someone sell a Spa Cover at such an affordable price? Easy, just ask you for your credit card number and process your order. Suppliers and trucking companies give credit to anyone; websites disappear overnight; a phone can easily be turned off, and a bank account closed. Unfortunately, we have heard too many stories of individuals seeking out the cheapest spa cover only to be ripped off, or left with a low-quality, quickly deteriorating cover.

David Shaverdi

Spacovers.com was founded in 1991 by then 19 years old, David Shaverdi. Fresh out of high school; armed with an entrepreneurial spirit and a natural construction skillset, David sought out to blaze his own trail. With a family deeply rooted in the Spa & Hot Tub Industry, it was only natural that he would find his niche herein. David began manufacturing spa covers in his newly leased shop, and would deliver these covers atop his Honda Accord.

Always wanting to improve everything he made or saw, he constantly refined the spa cover construction process. His goal was to never – absolutely never – sell, “crap”. He understood that building a better quality product was good for the customer AND for the business.

He continued refining the process through the quality of the materials used, and the methods used in construction. He eventually grew the business large enough to purchase a building of his own; equipment that modernized the construction process, and employ a number of individuals.

Sadly, David is no longer with us; one of the many victims of Cancer. He leaves behind four young boys that will greatly miss this incredible man. It is in his memory, and for the future of his children that SpaCovers.Com continues today. Spacovers’ promise to you – our customer – and to David is to manufacture products to the same high quality and standards that made him successful.
